Adding headlight relays

     <<RELAY.jpg>> The jpg attached shows the wiring required add 2 relays for
    the head light circuit. The reason I undertook this mod is to prevent full
    current through the dipper switch, and future addition of driving lights,
    currently I now have a 100/80W bulb. For those undertaking similar mods note
    the high beam circuit exits the dimmer switch too the headlight shell, loops
    out again to go under the tank for a pick off to the headlight high beam
    indicator lamp and finally back to the head light shell and bulb. You MUST
    tap into this final wire at the head light bulb so as not to loose the head
    light indication bulb. I have located the 2 relays on the frame supports
    that hold the fuel tank (one on each side, had to drill a small mounting
    hole on the RHS).
