Sandra K Greene (Zessin), 68, of Lower Nazareth, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023
after a 9-year battle with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare cancer. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, she was the daughter of
the late Howard Zessin and Jean Zessin. Sandy married her high school sweetheart, Joseph M. Greene, and they
raised two loving sons, Michael and Matthew. They moved to Pennsylvania in 1988 and would have celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary in February.

Sandy was retired, but spent many years as a bank teller at Truist bank in Nazareth and, prior to her battle with
cancer, spent a lot of time volunteering with local charities and organizations.

Surviving along with her husband and mother are sons Michael Greene, his wife Emily and their two children,
Abigail and Harrison of Nazareth, and Matthew Greene, his wife Brittany and their two children, Aurora and Demitri
of Northampton; sisters Kathy Lichtenwald of Midland, Michigan and her Fiancé Wayne Pinnell, and Jan Thomas of
Gold Canyon, Arizona and her husband Dennis; brother David Zessin of Boulder, Colorado and his wife Carla; and
many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and friends who are devastated by this loss. Anyone who met
Sandy knew that family was extremely important to her and she leaves behind a powerful legacy.

Sandy fought the cancer against all odds for 9 years and was an incredibly strong woman. She underwent
surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and too many painful issues, but she did it all with her famous smile.
She had a smile that could light up a room, and she managed to share that smile with everyone around her
even during some of her most trying times.
