F&S chrome floorboards, relocated rectifier and Hot Box.
1986 Brown and mauve for now Suzuki GV1400 Cavalcade LXE
Not much to add to these bikes since Suzuki already thought of just about everything. The bike has auto leveling suspension, electronic cruise control, AM-FM stereo with cassette player, CB radio and intercom, (sound system includes passenger controls) air adjustable rider and passenger seats & backrests, auxillary connection for compressor to air tires with and catch this, it even has a lighted, flip-down vanity mirror in the trunk! Previous owner(s) have added a chrome front fender guard, chrome trunk rack and a trailer hitch. I have already tackled a couple of maintenance and safety issues. The first order of business to Okiefy it is to replace the cheesy foam grips with a set of Iso Grips designed for a Valkyrie. I have already lined up a painter, but I am torn between painting it black, 2011 Camaro yellow or 2012 Mustang Grabber Blue. The painter got really excited about shooting it yellow and it is a Suzuki afterall, so he may get his way. Stay tuned this should be a fun project and until it speaks to me I am calling it Tupperware II.

Here are few photos of my latest obsession. For a detailed look at the steps getting it from the homely blue and silver to the black beauty she is now please visit my website.

Following installation of a converted 2004 Nomad engine and Jardine 2:1 Cannon exhaust.

Good view of the fairing.

Drifter pipes and solo rack

This is what I started with. Pretty dramatic transformation, huh?
