Other than a few things like re-routing the clutch cable, wiring wraps,
license plate frame and mounting the Jardine's, the project is finished.
This has truly been a VROC project and it would take me forever to thank
everyone who contributed parts or technical expertise. So let me just say
"Thanks All!" A few of the changes made, include a F&S V-Force II
windshield (minus cheesy ~V~ sticker), Classic rear fender, 1500 Classic
handlebars, Kuryakyn Iso-Grips, Thunder SSK kit, polished/modified
carburetor, SS cables, chrome wide-blade levers, Mustang WN and fender bib.
A special item is the low-buck license plate mount. It is molded out of ABS
plastic and comes in a black or primer finish. This mount is made by a guy
in Norman, OK and was actually developed for HDs. However, it is a perfect
fit using the two lower holes! I might add a thin rubber gasket later, but
it really follows the contour of the fender well without it. Take a look at
the pictures and let me know what you think!
