I recently added the touring fender and adapted an 800 intake to my 750. When I got my fender back from the paint shop the plastic had "shrunk" (for lack of a better word) and was rubbing the tire. The problem was easily corrected by heating the under side of the fender with a heat gun (very carefully) and re-shaping by pressing the stock fender into the underside and letting it cool. All is well now. The intake mod was pretty easy, I blocked off the right side of the stock 750 airbox and made an adapter for the left side. The only adjustment was three turns on the mix screw to smooth everything out. The plugs are burning properly. There is no performace advantage, but I think it looks better than the "ears".
