Michael,
I hope you don't mind, but I have followed your
problem for a while now. I noticed in your post that you mentioned stock
exhaust. I like everyone else assumed that you had modified it by removing
the baffles. I was floored when I saw pics of your bike with unmodified
exhaust and the Hyper installed. Brother, you just can't do that and
expect it to ever work right! Save the money you were going to spend on a
carburetor and buy some pipes to get things working right on your bike. An
air kit is always supposed to follow or be done in conjunction with aftermarket
exhaust. I hope you get it ironed out before riding season gets into full
swing.
