I'm getting ready to update my profile the first of the week but
wanted to share these pictures beforehand. The first four are pictures of the
"hack" and show off Tom Miller's paintwork. The fuel tank is OEM colors.
After Tom & Jenny worked out the paint scheme we left the sidecovers and the
upper shell of the hack with Tom and he got rid of the Russian waves and did a
great looking matching paint job. I chopped the rectangular shaped sidecar
windshield to decrease buffeting (it was killing the RIDER) and to match the
lines of the Slipstreamer Falcon windshield. I took the powdercoated rack to the
platers and bought a personalized license plate for the finishing touches. I did
minor suspension tuning and installed a stabilizer. I think I'm done except I am
contemplating installing an additional brake light on the sidecar body. I think
I'm done with the Nomad too (Jenny says "Yeah, right."). I installed
V&H Baggers, PC III and a K&N filter element and it runs great - no bad
manners or hiccups (I think I got lucky). The lightbar is F&S with my
Classic's amber spots, the seat is a Mustang WN, the rear rack, backrest and
license plate mount are off of my Classic, so are the handlebars &
controls. Nothing really special about the Nad except it's real special to me.
I'm gonna love this motorcycle.
