Here
are some more pics of the wrecked 800 I'm rebuilding
with
the help of some very good friends, including the new
owner
VROC#7695.
Notice
the frame and swingarm. We have ground all the welds down
and
have used fiberglass to smooth up the neck area so it will look
really
good when I paint it. This procedure has about 60 man hours
in
it so
far and we are not through yet. Wonder why a "Good" custom paint
job
costs so much?? Now you know.
I'll
post more pics as we make progress. Lots of people have told me they
are
interested to see how the building of a custom bike proceeds. I
don't
know
what you'll learn by looking at these pics. Maybe you'll learn
that
I'm
crazy for doing this!!!! Most importantly, we're having
fun!!!!
