During the recent rally in Eureka Springs, a new VROC
chapter was formed, The Crown Vic Chapter. While most of the riders at the rally
totally wimped out on Friday morning because of the cold & rain, the Crown
Vic Chapter showed that its members has what it takes by braving the elements
and riding together to Branson, Missouri despite the rain, wind and cold. After
eating breakfast in Branson, our bold & hardy members rode back to the Iron
Horse Stables never stopping once to piss and moan about how cold it was or how
wet it was or how bad the road conditions were, or how trashed their bikes were
from the rain....no, not once.
It takes a special kind of person to belong to the
Crown Vic Chapter indeed. Gator, our chapter president, runs a tight ship and
will kick your ass if you step over, around, behind, or under the line. Tom
Miller, in charge of public relations, not only mends our fences figuratively,
but literally such as when one member occasionally runs another member off of
the road. Denise & Jenny are in charge of protocol, dress, and relentlessly
riding everybody's asses during all events, rain or shine. I'm the chapter
"scribe" and in charge of fair and accurate reporting of our chapter's
activities. All in all we're a tight knit group and we ride damnit, rain or
shine. Applicants are welcome, if they're tough enough to ride the
ride.
