LED brake lights

Here are two pictures of the LED brake light I installed last summer on my
1500D. The light itself is from J.C. Whitney, $7.95. The LED's are all in
one plastic housing which comes with double-adhesive tape. For better
looks, I made a holder from a piece of stainless steel (begged from a sheet
metal store), finely sanded and polished.

Electrical hook-up is a snap, just connect two wires to the ones going to
the brake light bulb. These LED's draw very little current and stand out
nicely in the rain. Note that their higher location also makes them more
    visible to car drivers, IMHO.
